Yancy ~The Kitten with A Miracle Leg

In late 2012, I saw an adorable solid black kitten that appeared to be only a few months old, dragging herself across the road.

She was quite wild, couldn’t move that well and was starving.

Through the grace of God, she allowed me to pick her up to receive medical help.

Meet Yancy, "Little Yum Yum" as we call her, a strong willed kitty who has faced the most difficult challenges in the short time she has been on earth.

Despite the odds, Yancy bounced back from surgery after surgery learning to walk.   What’s so amazing about Yancy, she has no hip.

Lady Featherstone ~ Rescue Story

There comes a time when some things are simply out of your hands, and God allows you to be a part of a bigger picture.  That was the case when this gentle soul came into our lives.

Meet Lady … Lady Featherstone that is; a name that quite suits this elegant creature that we met around a decade ago. Click on the link to read her story.

Introducing Favored Pets

Welcome to Favored Pets, a blog about pet rescues, adoptions and pet related items or products.

For almost twenty years now my husband and I have been blessed to be a part of pet rescues.  We have mothered back to health and released birds, ducks, turtles, but our efforts have mainly been directed toward cats or dogs.

As this site unfolds I’ll share with you some of my favorite personal pet rescue stories along with their adoptions, other articles or related pet stories and various products for pets or their owners.

My main focus for having this blog is that it helps people become more aware of the need for pet adoptions and the hard work that goes into the efforts of rescuing an animal.

All proceeds from the sales of any item go directly toward pet outreach and rescue shelters or pet foster home care.

“The godly care for their animals,

but the wicked are always cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10 NLT)

Be sure to visit my Daily Favor  blog which has new weekly teaching posts, along with all my other blogs, sites and places I hang my hat.
